Terms of Service

The game

LAST SEEN is a work of interactive fiction. Every case, character, name, phone, and event is invented for entertainment. Any resemblance to real people or real events is coincidental and unintended.

Your licence

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to play LAST SEEN on devices you own. Don't resell it, reverse-engineer it, or pull the story and art out to reuse elsewhere.

Purchases

Purchases are sold through the App Store or Google Play. The store you bought from handles the payment, receipts, and refunds under its standard terms. From version 2.8 on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, case 1 is free, and the case file (a one-time purchase) or the Retainer (a subscription) opens every other case. Players who began before 2.8 keep every case they already had. Analysis credits are optional: no case needs an analysis to be solved.

Fair play

Save data lives on your device. If you reset progress or delete the app, that data is gone and can't be recovered by us.

No warranty

The game is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it stable, but we can't promise it's free of every bug on every device.
