EFFECTIVE: JULY 2026
Dead Time ("the app") is built to collect as little as possible: nothing, to be exact.
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDKs, no ads, and no tracking of any kind.
Everything the app records - your workout sessions, streaks, XP, badges, and preferences - is stored locally on your device. It never leaves your phone. Deleting the app deletes the data.
The app makes network requests for exactly one purpose: downloading exercise demonstration photos for the move library from a public content server (GitHub). These requests carry no personal information, no identifiers, and no usage data.
Optional workout reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Nothing about them is sent anywhere.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
Dead Time provides general fitness content, not medical advice. Consult a doctor before starting any exercise program, and stop if something hurts.
If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future version adds an optional feature that needs data), the update will be posted at this address before it takes effect.
