Information We Use

DOTS uses Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings) to measure app usage and apply the limits you set. This usage data is provided and kept on your device by the operating system; the app uses it only to show your activity and enforce the blocks you choose.

DOTS stores your profile — such as your name, birth date, daily goal, and streak — on your device with SwiftData. If you are signed in to iCloud, this profile syncs through your own private iCloud (CloudKit) so it is available across your Apple devices.

Information We Do Not Collect

DOTS does not collect, sell, or share personal information. Your screen-time data, profile, and streak are processed on your device and synced only through your private iCloud — they are not uploaded to any Novarch server.

DOTS does not use third-party tracking, advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs, or tracking domains. Its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."

Screen Time Permission

To monitor usage and block apps, DOTS requests Screen Time authorization. This is handled entirely by Apple. The list of apps you choose to limit is represented by opaque tokens that the app cannot read as identifiable information, and that data never leaves your device.

Purchases

Premium subscriptions and one-time unlocks are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Novarch does not receive or store your payment information. Subscriptions are managed in your Apple Account settings.

Notifications

With your permission, DOTS schedules reminders and streak notifications locally on your device. No notification content is sent to or through a Novarch server.
